Ali Bananas and his Amazing Monkeys

animal videos.

Ali Bananas is a children's entertainer and circus artist based in Stroud Gloucestershire Ali Bananas came about in Dec 2005.

I’d been involved in the Entertainment Business and practiced Circus Skills for a number of years and felt the need for a new direction. Just then Zap + Heypresto Ali Bananas and his Amazing Monkeys were born. From that first moment a fire ignited inside me and the spontaneous, humorous, creative and the ridiculous were all re-kindled. Since then I’ve embarked on a journey of fun and discovery which has been much much more than ‘Just a Job’ I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have..    Ali Bananas

8. Monkeys communicate to each other by means of violent actions and hand signals very similar to those adopted by footballing filmstar Vinny Jonez.

12. The dead baby monkey in Signey Weaver's "Gorillas in the Mist" that was paraded around by the locals in a bizarre variation of the Conga was, in fact, played by midget actor David Rappatador just after he'd died.

13. A monkey can live as long as a human. As long as a human sounds his horn, that is.

14. Monkey-tea was favoured by many native Africans. Horatio "Nelson" Mandela drunk more than his fair share and suffered the consequences.

15. Monkeys cannot cook food. Neither can Jamie Olivier.
